Happy Samiljeol(Korean Independence Day).  When, in 1919, a 16 year old girl,

Yoo Kwan Soon, made and distributed hundreds of Korean flags and inspired people to peacefully shout “Independence Forever!“ Kicking starting Korea’s Independence from Japan. Because Japan was kinda a dick to them then.  A 16 year old girl, not a bunch of old grumpy men with guns and tea.

Reasonable Gas milage

For over a year I was driving a really fun 79 El Camino that I knew got terrible gas milage and leaked lots of oil.  The best I could do on a nice relaxed week of driving was maybe 9 mpg if I didn’t accelerate hard and never went above 50.  I actually tried it for a week. 

Then I got a Subaru with a weird transmission and a little engine that didn’t require a quart of oil a day.

Saving money is nice.
