I’m starting to learn more about how useless stand alone DFS is.  It’s nice for file sharing like pictures and documents to be shared around the globe but when you need to start editing files it’s pretty much crap unless you plan on notifying people you’re editing a copy, no one else do it.  Over the next few weeks I’ll be poking around with some 3rd party solutions and share my findings.  I hope this helps some.
