Install Microsoft’s Network Monitor 3.4 and reboot : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=4865

Run Network Monitor, select new capture and start.

Launch No Man’s Sky

Notice that while you’re moving around, murdering minerals, trading with aliens or anything beyond using a save radio or landing in a trading post there is no network traffic to the Hello Games server.
