I just had a revelation.  My first bike that I learned to ride and ended up having until I outgrew it was a Yellow Huffy.  I rode that thing everywhere. When bullies would start crap with my friends and me I learned how to kick them while still riding.  I could do super awesome bunny hops and even sank the bike in the pool a bunch of times.  Now I have a yellow car, the mazda.  It has a bubble that will not let it take any damage as long as I’m driving but I’m not brave enough to sink it.  I think I’ll paint the dodge yellow.

Photographer’s Description [Hu Yuanjia]: “I remember clearly that it was about 5 p.m. on November 25. I was just finishing an assignment photographing retired military soldiers bidding farewell to their comrades at the train station. On my way out, I heard someone yelling from a corner and soon after lots of people gathered around. I ran towards the sound and made my way to the front of the crowd, only to find an old man dead on the bench. As I raised my camera, a Buddhist monk walked out of the crowd and went directly towards the dead man. The monk bent down to hold the old man’s hand and started to chant scriptures. I began to take pictures immediately. One minute later, police came over and cordoned off the area. After the monk finished the ceremony, he bowed to the old man and quickly disappeared among the other busy passengers.” [Shanxi Taiyuan Train Station]

The other day I was talking to my girlfriend about how awesome it will be that by the time we have kids 3D printers will be much cheaper.  That means we’ll be able to go onto the interweb and download and print out all the old toys we played with as kids.

She brought up this will be the same as a grandparent whittling a toy out of wood but this is the modern age.  Plus, I want to download a G.I. Joe army.
