It looks like the upcoming Grand Theft Auto documentary on the BBC is going to be a big budget affair with Daniel Radcliffe being cast as one of the brothers behind the franchise.
The Harry Potter star will play Sam Houser, and while he and his brother have become incredibly rich off the back of Rockstar’s success, they’re still relatively unknown due to their evasive ways when it comes to the media.
Radcliffe’s role in the film hasn’t been fully confirmed yet, but Hollywood Reporter are pretty certain that negotiations are in place.
According to them the film will focus on Houser and Miami lawyer Jack Thompson, who was an anti-games lobbyist who got himself disbarred for professional misconduct.
It will be directed by Black Mirror and Misfits director Owen Harris and written by co-creator James Woods – with shooting to begin April 20.
Let’s hope it will be as good as we think it will be!
